16 Amarnath pilgrims killed in J-K road accident

Samba, July 27: At least 16 Amarnath pilgrims were killed, while 16 others got injured in a road accident in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba District.

The unfortunate incident took place when a truck carrying the pilgrims plunged into a deep gorge on Samba-Mansar road near Samba last night.

Personnel of the army, state police and Border Security Force (BSF) rushed to the spot soon after getting the information.
The injured pilgrims were rushed to the Government Medical College in Jammu. (ANI)
