Chandigarh to host coffee festival

Chandigarh, July 27: Chandigarh will host its first Coffee Sipping Festival from Saturday where people can taste different flavours of the beverage.

The two-day weekend fest would be held at the Sukhna Lake, said a Chandigarh Industrial and Tourism Development Corporation (CITCO) spokesperson.

“Coffee generates interest amongst all. Hence the festival will promote coffee culture and provide a wholesome experience for families. They can have coffee, cakes, cookies, mocktails and much more at the CITCO cafeteria,” the official said.

There will also be a coffee cup painting contest for children. They can also draw and paint on coffee-based colour themes.

A music band will also perform at the festival.
