Khan says Garcia’s dad is ‘going to see British-Pakistani fight and knock his son out’

London, July 13(ANI): WBA Super Light weight champion Amir Khan has responded to comments made on his Pakistani origin by rival Danny Garcia’s dad, Angel, by saying that during their championship bout on Saturday would he would see a British-Pakistani boxing and knocking his son out.

The Bolton based boxer clashed with Angel Garcia at the final press conference ahead of Saturday’s fight at the Mandalay Bay.

“I’ve never said this before, but I promise I will knock Danny Garcia out,” The Daily Mirror quoted Khan, as saying.

“I will have all the world titles with him after the fight. I know he’s not trained as hard as me. I promise I will knock him out and shut his dad up,” Khan added.

Garcia responded by saying: “You talk s**t. I talk the truth, you talk s**t.”

Khan further said: “I can’t wait until after the fight when I’ve knocked your son out and all the titles are on my side of the table.”

“You say you’ve never seen a Pakistani who can fight, well, he’s going to see a British-Pakistani fight on Saturday and knock his son out,” he added.

“Twenty-three and one won’t be a bad record for Danny and I’m sure he can come back from that,” he said. (ANI)
