New Delhi, July 22: UPA constituent DMK Sunday said veteran Congress leader Pranab Mukherjee, who is set to make his way to the Rashtrapati Bhavan, will be missed in the alliance.
“We will be missing him very much,” DMK leader T.R. Baalu told reporters outside Mukherjee’s residence.
“My leader K. Karunanidhi, and my party as a whole, is delighted to hear that Pranab Mukherjee has won the elections,” he said.
Baalu was speaking after meeting Mukherjee at his residence here.
He however added that the DMK was “delighted” at the fact that Mukherjee was set to be the president of the country.
