Kamra air base attack terrorists were Pakistanis, confirms Rehman Malik

Islamabad, Aug 19: Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik has confirmed that the nine persons who attacked Air Force base Kamra have been identified as being of Pakistan origin.

“All of them are Pakistanis, and authorities have complete details about their activities and links. Pakistan Air Force, Punjab Police and FIA are investigating the terrorist attack,” The News quoted Malik, as saying.

“A conspiracy was hatched against the solidarity of Pakistan’ its people and armed forces. I had already informed the nation about blueprint of plan and people saw this unfolding during last few days,” he said.

“Terrorist attack at Kamra air base’ killing passengers at Babusar Top Pass and bomb blast in Karachi were part of conspiracy to demoralize people of Pakistan and destabilize the country,” he added.

“Our enemies prepared a plan to destabilise Pakistan but it would be foiled through coordinated efforts of agencies concerned and support of people,” Malik asserted. (ANI)
