Chennai, Aug 21: Karnataka’s miserable run continued in the Buchi Babu All-India Cricket Tournament as they slid to 27 for four after dismissing Gujarat for 195 here Tuesday.
Karnataka, who had lost their opening league fixture to Kerala, did well to restrict Gujarat with R. Vinay Kumar and K.P. Appanna taking three wickets apiece, but the response was rather poor as they lost their top four batsmen for next to nothing.
Meanwhile, Saurashtra’s Jaydev Shah played a captain’s knock of 99 (122b, 9×4, 4×6) as his team piled up 337 for nine in their allotted 90 overs against Vidarbha.
