Olympic boxing: Mary Kom settles for bronze

London, Aug 8: India’s M.C. Mary Kom lost her semi-final bout to Nicola Adams of Great Britain 6-11 and settled for the bronze medal in the 51kg category of the Olympic women’s boxing at the ExCel Arena here Wednesday.

Losing semi-finalists in Olympic boxing are awarded the bronze medal. This is India’s fourth medal at the London Games, making it the highest ever medal haul for the nation.
