US Olympic star Gabby Douglas to feature on corn flakes boxes

New York, August 4: US gymnast Gabby Douglas will soon be seen in corn flakes boxes after her Olympic success at London 2012.

According to Sports Business Daily, the 16-year-old sportsperson signed up a deal with Kellogg’s following her gold medal victory on Thursday in the Olympic gymnastics individual all-around in London, the New York Post reported.

This will be Douglas’ second major endorsement, as she has already signed up with Procter and Gamble after the Olympic Trials despite playing second fiddle to teammate Jordyn Wieber, who many thought would be the breakout star in London.

Wieber was the defending world all-around champion, but failed to make the Olympic final in the event, finishing behind Douglas and Aly Raisman of the US in the prelims. (ANI)
