Violence erupts during student seminar at Bihar varsity

Arrah (Bihar), Aug.9: Irked over the suspension of a student union president, students created a ruckus during a student seminar here on Thursday.

The seminar hall at the Veer Kunwar Singh University in Arrah was in a state of total chaos.

Bihar’s Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, was present at the function, and was scheduled to address youth workers of his Janata Dal (United) party.

The students were protesting against the suspension of their union president Naveen Kumar.

Police managed to bring the situation under control after some time. (ANI)
