BSF seizes heroin near Pakistan border

Attari (Punjab), Sep 20: The Border Security Force (BSF) seized a consignment of 10 kg of heroin from near the international border between India nd Pakistan in the Attari sector, officials said here Thursday.

The consignment, valued at nearly Rs.50 crore in the international market, was found near the barbed wire fenced border near Dhaoke village.

BSF official said that Pakistani smugglers could have thrown the consignment on to the Indian side.
