Congress membership drive begins Oct 12

New Delhi, Sep 29: The Congress has decided to begin a membership drive form Oct 16 with a target to expand its base by at least 25 percent, party sources said Saturday.

They said the decision to launch the drive was taken at a meeting of party general secretaries here. The new members will be enrolled for five years instead of three years at present.
