London, September 25: The editor of the French magazine, which had published topless photos of Duchess Kate, has been receiving death threats, it has been revealed.
Laurence Pieau told that police that she had been sent “very menacing emails”.
“Instead of a long lens, we’ll get you in the sights of something a bit more powerful,” the Mirror quoted one as warning the editor of Closer magazine.
“We’ll never leave you in peace,” another said.
Closer caused a global storm when it published 13 grainy pictures of Prince William and Kate on holiday in a private French villa.
“We have received more than 300 insulting emails, with some containing death threats,” a spokesman said. (ANI)
