Sharjah, Sep 18 (IANS/WAM) Male and female students at the University of Sharjah’s colleges of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and fine art and design will not be divided into separate classes due to the nature of their studies, an official said.
This was disclosed Tuesday by Amr Abdul Hameed, adviser for higher education affairs to Sharjah ruler Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi.
However, other colleges at the university will continue to divide male and female students into separate classes, he said.
