Washington, Sep 18: Business software giant Oracle Corp. has confirmed that it is buying SelectMinds, a company that uses social media tools to help recruiters.
SelectMinds’ products are already integrated in Oracle offerings related to recruiting, performance management and human capital management.
Oracle said it is reviewing SelectMinds’ product roadmap and will inform its customers about any new features as it sees fit, Fox News reports.
Oracle shares rose 15 cents to close at $33.10 in regular trading Monday before the deal was announced, the report said.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed to the media, it added.
Oracle’s purchase comes in a bid to boost the capabilities it gained through this year’s 1.9 billion dollar acquisition of Taleo. (ANI)
