Pakistan beat Bangladesh to qualify for Super Eights

Pallekele, Sep 25: Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by eight wickets here Tuesday to qualify for the Super Eights of the World Twenty20 tournament.

Pakistan overcame Bangladesh’s 175 for six in 18.4 overs, thanks to Imran Nazir (72) and skipper Mohammad Hafeez (45).

Earlier, Shakib Al Hasan top-scored for Bangladesh with a scintillating 84 off 54 balls.
