Sri Lanka hammer Windies by nine wickets

Pallekele, Sep 29: SriLanka thrashed the West Indies by nine wickets in a Super Eight match of the World Twenty20 tournament here Saturday.

Skipper Mahela Jayawardene remained unbeaten on 65 as the team got home in 15.2 overs.

Earlier, Samuels top-scored with 50 while Dwayne Bravo made 40 in the West Indies’ 129 for five.
