Pallekele (Sri Lanka), Sep 23: Pakistan set a target of 178 runs for New Zealand in a Group D tie of the World Twenty20 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium here Sunday.
Opting to bat first, Pakistan made 177/6 with Nasir Jamshed top scoring with 56, which included four sixes and two boundaries.
Skipper Mohammed Hafeez and Imran Nazir chipped in with 43 and 25.
