Aspiring model killed in car accident

New Delhi, Oct 26: A 20-year-old aspiring model was killed after his speeding car turned turtle here, police said Friday.

The accident took place around 2 a.m. Thursday near Metro pillar number 372 in west Delhi’s Moti Nagar.

Abhay Batra, resident of west Delhi’s Ramesh Nagar, was returning from Paharganj along with his four friends after a late-night party when the accident occurred.

“Batra’s head was out of the car’s window. One of his friends was driving the car. As the driver was reportedly drunk, he lost control over the vehicle and it turned turtle after hitting the central verge of the road,” said a police officer.

“Batra died on the spot while his friends received minor bruises,” said the officer.
