Books are fun, says Sharjah workshop

Sharjah, Oct 4 (IANS/WAM) A workshop was held here to educate school librarians about using fun activities to inspire love for reading among students.

The UAE Board on Books for Young People (UAEBBY) workshop was held at the Aryana Hotel in Sharjah. It targeted 15 librarians from private schools across Sharjah, Dubai, and Ras Al Khaimah.

The initiative was assisted by Julie Hamilton, school librarian at the Australian International School in Sharjah, and supported by the Emirates Foundation for Youth Development.
