Cool morning in Delhi, clear day ahead

New Delhi, Oct 22: It was a cool, pleasant Monday morning in the capital with the minimum temperature settling at 16.7 degrees Celsius – two notches below average for this time of the season. The weather office has forecast a clear day ahead.

“A clear day lies ahead for the capital… The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 32 degrees Celsius,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

The humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 81 percent.

Sunday’s maximum temperature was recorded at 30.9 degrees Celsius, two notches below average, while the minimum temperature settled at 18.3 degrees Celsius – average for this time of the season.
