Danielle Lineker runs over Gary’s toe while reversing car

London, Oct 20: As Gary Lineker’s wife Danielle took to the driver’s seat to reverse her car before heading out for a restaurant opening on Wednesday evening, she ended up running over the former footie star’s toe.

The 51-year-old quickly took to his Twitter account to tell his followers all about the incident.

“Leaving home for opening of our friend’s restaurant, Barbarella on Fulham Road, and Mrs L reverses over my toe. My bad toe. #ouch,” the Daily Mail quoted him as writing.

He then went on to post another message, explaining that Danielle didn’t believe she was at fault, even after she smashed the wing mirror on their car.

The ‘Match of the Day’ presenter wrote: “And then proceeded to smash wing mirror off on the iron gate that I was holding open. All my fault of course!”

On hand, not to help but just laugh at the situation, Gary’s son George who witnessed the incident also had something to say on the micro-blogging site.

The 20-year-old wrote: “haha my old mans mrs just ran over my old mans foot as the went out to dinner. haha jesus that sounded like it hurt a lot. shocker.” (ANI)
