Laptop ‘used by Bill Clinton to send only Presidential e-mail’ up for sale

Washington, Oct 31: A Toshiba laptop that contains the first ever presidential e-mail, including letters signed by former US President Bill Clinton, is up for sale.

A private collector has planned to sell the laptop for 125,000 dollars on eBay.

According to Mashable, The description of the device on the website says ‘it is the actual Toshiba computer that Clinton used to send his only Presidential E-mail’

“It still has the historic message to John Glenn in space on the hard drive and disc and has outstanding documentation, including a signed photo of the President using the computer with an appropriate acknowledgment of the task and a signed print-out of the historic email also with John Glenn’s signature,” the description said.

“This is the first email of a President and the first email of a President to outer space,” it added.

According to the report, the seller’s has a press release and photograph of the laptop, signed by both Clinton and Glenn as a proof. (ANI)
