Mamata has no moral right to comment on UPA: Jagdambika Pal

New Delhi, Oct 5: Congress leader Jagdambika Pal on Friday lashed out at West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief Mamata Banerjee, saying she has been making irresponsible statements.

Pal said the Congress-led UPA Government still has majority despite TMC pulling out of it.

“Mamata has no moral right to say that this government should go because still we have absolute majority. Except Mamata, all our allies and those supporting from outside the government, they are extending support and they have categorically said that they will expend their support to Congress-UPA government,” he said.

Mamata Banerjee, who withdrew her support from the Congress-led UPA Government after Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in multi-brand retail was cleared last month, is on the warpath again and has been urging the allies of the ruling coalition to withdraw their support as well. (ANI)
