Pleasant Saturday forecast for Delhi

New Delhi, Oct 26: Bright sunshine during the day and a slight nip in the air in the evening made for a pleasant Friday for Delhi residents. The Met Office has forecast a pleasant Saturday and weekend.

“The maximum temperature was recorded at 29.5 degrees Celsius, two notches below average, and the minimum was 13.9 degrees, three notches below average for this time of the season,” said an official of the India Meteorological department (IMD).

The humidity levels wavered between a high of 89 and a low of 31 percent.

According to the IMD, a pleasant weekend is expected for Delhi with light mist in the morning and evenings. However, the afternoons will be warm.

“The maximum and minimum temperatures tomorrow (Saturday) will hover around 29 and 15 degrees Celsius, respectively,” added the official.

Thursday was Delhi’s coldest Oct 25 in five years, with the maximum temperature dropping four notches to 27.7 degrees celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded two notches below average at 14.9 degrees celsius.
