Sonata to offer e-commerce solutions with Hybris

Bangalore, Oct 8: Leading IT consulting firm Sonata Software Ltd will offer e-commerce solutions in partnership with Hybris, which provides multi-channel commerce software.

“As a strategic area of focus, e-commerce will give us momentum in target segments such as travel, transportation, retail and distribution. The new partnership will enable us to provide multi-channel solutions on Hybris platform,” Sonata vice president Vivek Desai said in a statement here Monday.

The city-based Sonata has been providing B2C and B2B e-commerce platforms to enhance customer experience over the years.

“We are setting up a dedicated Hybris centre of excellence for one of our largest customers. We also plan to jointly target travel and manufacturing-retail-distribution businesses in the near future,” Desai said but did not name the customer.

Hybris helps businesses the world over to sell more goods, services and digital content throughtouch-point, channel and device.

It’s ‘OmniCommerce’ master data management and unified commerce processes givea single business view of its customers, products and orders.

“For e-commerce to provide a competitive edge, a platform that delivers online experiences across multiple channels is of critical importance,” Desai said.
