UAE president orders plane to get injured Emirati from Oman

Abu Dhabi, Oct 28 (IANS/WAM) United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has come to the help of an Emirati citizen injured in a traffic accident in Oman, ordering a plane be sent to bring him back for treatment.

The 48-year-old man suffered a head injury during a road accident in Oman Friday.

The president ordered a medical aircraft, with an interior ministry officer and a medical team from Abu Dhabi on board to airlift the man for complete treatment in the UAE.
