New Delhi, Nov. 1: Demanding a CBI inquiry of charges levelled by Janata Party (Secular) president Subramanian Swamy against Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Rajiv Pratap Rudy on Thursday described the accusations as being of a very serious nature.
Rudy, who is the BJP spokesperson, said: “All these questions deserve an answer. The leadership of the Congress Party must respond immediately and a CBI inquiry should be ordered.”
The Congress, on the other hand, rubbished all the allegations, and said that people should not take Swamy seriously as he is making baseless charges against Nehru-Gandhi family.
Earlier today, Swamy accused the Nehru-Gandhi family and ruling Congress party leaders Sonia and Rahul Gandhi of running a fraud company and of misusing their positions.
Swamy alleged that they both won 76 per cent share of a company called
Young Indian and this company owns the Herald House in Delhi, which is
worth Rs.16oo crores and demanded a CBI inquiry into the matter. (ANI)
