Obama camp touts Colin Powell’s endorsement in new radio ad

Washington, Nov. 1: President Barack Obama’s campaign is out with a new radio ad touting the endorsement of former Secretary of State Colin Powell. It set to be aired in the battleground states of the U.S.

“Powell enthusiastically cited the President’s leadership in bringing us back from the brink of economic collapse, ending the war in Iraq, putting in place a plan to end the war in Afghanistan, and his strong record of fighting terrorism as reasons for his endorsement,” the campaign said in a statement.

“Like Secretary Powell, the American people know that President Obama is a strong, steady and decisive leader with an affirmative vision to move our country forward,” Politico quoted the campaign, as saying.

The ad will run in Florida, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Virginia, New Hampshire, Ohio, Iowa, Nevada, and Colorado. (ANI)
