New Delhi, jan.20: Over 80,000 children will be taking part in the national pulse polio immunisation programme on Sunday.
The programme is aimed at polio eradication by administering vaccine to all children below the age of five years.
As many as 80,181 children up to the age of five years, including new born babies, in all district across the country would be administered the vaccine between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Pulse polio programme was aimed at declaring India a polio-free country by 2014. (ANI)
