Hoax bomb caller arrested

New Delhi, Jan 24: A 35-year-old man was Thursday arrested here for making a hoax bomb call to decongest traffic on a road here, police said.

“Vijay Singh was arrested from Kingsway Camp area in north Delhi for making a hoax bomb call Jan 21 from his mobile phone,” said a police officer.

The accused was going towards Burari area when he got stuck in a traffic jam near Nirankari Samagam ground. He made a call to police control room and said a bomb will explode at the ground. Police searched the area before declaring the call as a hoax, and arrested Vijay Singh.
