Cape Town, Jan 1: New Zealand all-rounder James Franklin says he and his teammates have to take a positive frame of mind into their test series against South Africa.
Franklin, who’ll bat No 7 and chime in as a fourth seamer with his left-armers, was quoted by stuff.co.nz, as saying the Kiwis couldn’t simply think of staying in the game against the South Africans and hope to take the match to a fifth day and earn some respectability.
He said there was a need for the visitors to go in with a very positive frame of mind and be optimistic no matter what the opposition and the conditions.
It was essential to go in with a winning mentality. (ANI)
