Pippa’s publishers shelve her follow-up party books over Palace intervention

London, Jan ary 21: Plans to publish Pippa Middleton’s another two follow-up party books have been put on hold by her publishers, as the Palace have stopped her from publicising them properly.

According to sources her publishers, Michael Joseph, a division of Penguin, are set to back out of the deal.

They are said to be complaining that palace aides have prevented Middleton from properly publicising the books, the Daily mail reported.

The 29-year-old was paid a reported 400,000 pounds advance for the much derided ‘Celebrate’, which was published last October.

Her publisher was said to have had high hopes for the 25-pound non-fiction hardback, so much so that they had already discussed bringing out two follow-up books.

But now sources say that Pippa’s editors at Michael Joseph have told her that they are planning to cancel their option for the follow-ups unless the Palace agreed to back off.

Michael Joseph made clear that they won’t go ahead if their press schedule and Pippa’s diary is dictated to by the Palace, the source said. (ANI)
