Sir Bradley Wiggins chains BBC trophy to local pub

London, Jan 1: Sir Bradley Wiggins, who was recently crowned Sports Personality of the year, has chained his prestigious BBC trophy to the bar at his local pub.

The prize has taken the pride of place at the Original Farmers Arms in Eccleston, Lancashire, where Wiggins is a regular, the Sun reported.

The pub’s landlord Barry Newton said that the 32-year-old UK cyclist had walked in a few days after he won the prize and told him to keep his trophy until after Christmas, so people could look at it. (ANI)
