Washington, Feb uary 27: Michelle Williams and Jason Segel have broken up.

The actor couple called it quits a few weeks ago after dating for a year, a source confirms to People Magazine.

The long distance seems to be the culprit.

Williams, 32, lives in New York City with her 7-year-old daughter Matilda, whom she had with the late Health Ledger.

Segel, 33, who is one of the stars of the CBS series “How I Met Your Mother,” primarily resides in Los Angeles, where the comedy films.

The couple began dating in March 2012 and kept a relatively low profile throughout their relationship.

Williams and Segel reportedly moved in to a Brooklyn apartment together last year. (ANI)
