Missing ‘diabetic’ teenager reunites with parents following Facebook campaign

Sydney, Feb 19: A diabetic teenager from Brisbane has been reunited with his family due to a Facebook campaign, following his disappearance.

Connaire Daniels’ parents took the support of social media giant Facebook by creating groups on the site requesting information on sightings of Daniels, Courier Mail reports.

Thanking the public and Facebook for an overwhelming response, Daniels’ mother Margaret Daniels said she and her husband would still have been searching for their son, who had little money and no cell phone with him when he went missing.

Daniels was last seen at his family home in Salisbury in southern Brisbane on Sunday morning.

His parents told police he was planning to catch a train into South Bank to meet up with friends but he never returned home, the paper added. (ANI)
