‘Fat old one’ Ronaldo ‘curses’ Fergie-run United to lose every match

London, Mar 8: Former Brazilian footballer Ronaldo has hit out at Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson for calling him fat and said that he hoped that United now loses in every upcoming match.

Ferguson had called the football legend as a ‘fat old one’, when he was asked to compare him with Cristiano Ronaldo before United’s Champions League tie with Real Madrid, the Mirror reports.

Angry at what he termed Ferguson’s lack of respect, the former World Player of the Year said that he has no other words for Ferguson, except that he hopes now that United gets defeated in every match it plays.

Ronaldo further said that it does not look good if a titled professional like the United boss is disrespectful, adding that it was not ‘classy’ of the Scot.

The former Real Madrid star, who had to retire in 2011 because of injury and weight problems, has since lost over two stones on a Brazilian reality TV show and is now an ambassador for the 2014 World Cup, the report added. (ANI)
