Indian boy goes missing in Muscat

Muscat, Mar 10: A teenage Indian boy has disappeared from outside a market area in Muscat, Oman.

Noel Sam Abraham, a tenth class student of Indian School Darseit, had gone to LuLu Hypermarket with his parents and younger brother.

According to a family friend Benny Mathai, since Abraham was preparing for the examinations, he preferred to stay in the car and study while his parents shopped.

A torn piece from the collar of Noel’s shirt was found in the car and all the papers and books that he had on his lap were all scattered in the car when his parents returned, he added.

Mathai said that it was a clear case of forceful abduction, Gulf News reports.

The incident emerges a week after an Indian schoolgirl’s escape from her kidnappers.

The schoolgirl was abducted from Darseit area and taken to an isolated spot in Wadi Kabir, but before her abductors could harm her, she showed her presence of mind and used her running ability to escape. (ANI)
