New Delhi, March 8: A mall cashier, missing since Thursday morning, was found dead in a park here Friday, police said.
“The body of Subhash Chandar, 49, was found at the Japanese park in Rohini area of north Delhi. He was missing from his house in Rohini Sector-1 since Thursday morning,” said a senior police officer.
The victim’s neck bore a deep injury from a sharp-edged weapon.
Police said that one of his mobile was missing while Rs.350 cash was found in his pocket.
Employed in a mall in Ashok Vihar, Chandar left his house Thursday morning, telling his wife that he was going to his office but did not reach there, police said.
“We are investigating the case from all possible angles,” Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police M.A. Rizvi told IANS.
