London, Mar 16: North Korea has reportedly test-fired a pair of short-range missiles into its eastern waters.
According to officials in South Korea the new test came in response to ongoing routine US-South Korean military drills.
A military official in Seoul said the North launched what appeared to be KN-02 missiles during its own drills, the Daily Star reports.
The latest test comes at a time of rising tension between the isolated Asian country and the West.
Pyongyang has threatened to launch nuclear strikes on Seoul and Washington because of the drills and recent UN sanctions over its third nuclear test. (ANI)
