My relationship with A. J. McCarron is like Romeo and Juliet, says Katherine Webb

Washington, Mar 9: Katherine Webb has said that people call her and her quarterback boyfriend A. J. McCarron the Romeo and Juliet of Alabama because of the rivalry between their home teams.

“Football is like a religion, hence the state of Alabama having one of the greatest rivalries in all of college football between Auburn and Alabama,” she told Vanity Fair.

The beauty queen said that people from both teams take it so seriously, that they hate each other.

It’s creating almost a civil war within one state, she said.

“Now you can see why an Auburn grad, who is a beauty queen dating a University of Alabama star quarterback, will make national headlines,” she added. (ANI)
