Islamabad, July 16: Pakistani film actress Meera, who recently announced that she will be constructing a charity hospital in the name of her mother, has credited Imran Khan for being an inspiration behind her project.
Cricketer-turned-Politian, Khan is the man behind the construction of Pakistan’s only free cancer hospital, the Express Tribute reported.
However, now Meera is following Khan’s philanthropic endeavours by building the hospital that will provide free cardio services to the impoverished people of Haroonabad.
In an interview with the publication, the actress said that the idea of building the hospital happened accidentally after she met with the doctors’ association during her tour of the US and Canada. (ANI)
