Patna, Aug. 17: The Bharatiya Janata Party’s Bihar unit on Saturday passed a unanimous resolution urging the party’s parliamentary board to announce Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as its Prime Ministerial candidate for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
The BJP’s Bihar State Executive Committee passed this resolution at a meeting in Bodh Gaya.
Modi, who has been elevated as the BJP’s poll panel chief, is considered by many to be the party’s face for the next general elections.
The BJP has, however, not officially endorsed his candidature yet. (ANI)
