Edinburgh, Aug 30: Defending US Open Champion Andy Murray’s coach Ivan Lendl barely raised an eyebrow in the player’s first match at the tournament against Michael Llodra, as the Scot said that when his coach was nervous, he was a lot more animated.
According to The Scotsman, Murray demolished Llodra 6-2, 6-4, 6-3 and looked sharp and fit, no matter what tricks his opponent had up his sleeve.
The Scot said that he was not thinking about last year and did not feel any different, which was a good thing.
Murray said that coach Lendl was pretty nervous towards the end of his Wimbledon victory, because he had felt that the player had a good chance to win. (ANI)
