New Delhi, Aug.30: The Uttar Pradesh Government has ordered a probe into the suspension of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Durga Shakti Nagpal.
The enquiry would be conducted by Principal Secretary (Home) RM Srivastava, who has been asked to look into all aspects of the case. Srivastava has been asked to submit his report at the earliest.
This move of the government came after Durga Shakti Nagpal, who was posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Gautam Budh Nagar, filed her reply to the chargesheet served on her.
The Uttar Pradesh Government had in its chargesheet accused Nagpal of taking a hasty administrative decision in demolishing a wall.
Nagpal was suspended as the SDM on July 27, attached with the state revenue board and served a charge sheet August 4. (ANI)
