London, September 4: Miley Cyrus has reportedly revealed that she “wanted to make history” with her twerking act at the MTV Video Music Awards 2013, just like Madonna and Britney Spears, and believes that people are “over thinking” about her dancing.
The 20-year old record artist admitted that she doesn’t pay attention to the massive negative reaction to her ‘thrusting, twerking and stroking’ performance, and revealed that the thought of making history was all that was on her mind when she took to the stage with Robin Thicke, the Mirror reported
She claims that people are “overthinking” her performance and condemning it, while her predecessors, like Madonna in her ‘Like A Virgin’ performance in 1984, had also taken the same route to create history.
Cyrus had shocked the audiences with her performance at the MTV VMA when she started twerking and stroking Robin Thicke’s crotch with an oversized foam finger, during their performance. (ANI)
