New Delhi, Dec 16: Delhiites woke up to a nippy and foggy Monday morning, with the visibility dropping to around 400 metres at 8.30 a.m. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has, however, forecast a clear day ahead in the capital.
The city’s minimum temperature settled at 8.8 degrees Celsius – average for this time of the year.
“The day’s maximum temperature is likely to hover around 24 degrees Celsius,” said the India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.
Humidity at 8:30 a.m. was 100 percent.
Sunday’s maximum temperature was recorded a notch above the season’s average at 24 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled a notch above the season’s average at 9.4 degrees Celsius.
