Hull City hammers `struggling` Fulham 6-0 in Premier League

Johannesburg, Dec 29: Hull City has recorded their best-ever result in the Premier League with a 6-0 hammering of struggling Fulham on Saturday at their home in KC Stadium.

Hull, who has had won just twice since September prior to the game, moved seven points clear of the relegation places while the visitors remain third from bottom, having conceded 41 goals in 19 games, the worst in the Premier League.

According to Sport24, Hull scored all their goals in the second half, with Ahmed Elmohamady starting the rout with a 15-yard shot followed by Robert Koren sweeping in from Yannick Sagbo’s cross and George Boyd driving in a third.

Tom Huddlestone thumped in his first goal since April 2011, Matty Fryatt tapped in a fifth and Koren prodded in the sixth from close range to make his second goal in the game, the report added. (ANI)
