New Delhi, Dec. 17: India and the 22-nation Arab League on Tuesday held wide-ranging discussions on key bilateral, regional and international issues, including situation in Syria and the West Asia peace process.
Both countries have decided to explore new areas of cooperation to further enhance ties.
In their talks, External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid and Secretary General of League of Arab States Nabil Elaraby agreed to enhance cooperation in trade, investment and other areas.
A memorandum of cooperation between the two countries was also signed by the two leaders that is aimed at imparting fresh momentum to engagement between the two sides at the senior official and ministerial levels. (ANI)
