India, Egypt boost bilateral ties

New Delhi, Dec.4: Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy on Wednesday met the External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid to discuss key bilateral issues between the two countries.

Fahmy who is on his first Asian tour, arrived in the national capital early on Wednesday.

The Egyptian Foreign Minister, who is on a two-day state trip to India, aims to fortify relations between Egypt and India.

Earlier, Fahmy met Vice President, Hamid Ansari and is likely to meet National Security Advisor (NSA) Shiv Shankar Menon to discuss trade and other issues between the two countries.

Fahmy is also scheduled to deliver a lecture at the Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies here. (ANI)
