Orlando Bloom skips ‘The Hobbit’ premiere to attend ‘Romeo and Juliet’ co-star’s b’day

New York, Dec. 14: Orlando Bloom was seen arriving solo at the New York premiere of his latest film, ‘The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug’, but then made himself absent to attend his ‘Romeo and Juliet’ co-star Condola Rashad’s birthday.

The 36-year-old actor was at the premiere with co-star Evangeline Lilly and guests Sean Parker, Eric Schmidt, Brooke Shields, Jeremy Piven.

However, sources said that after the Hollywood hunk shared a table at a Lambs Club after-party with Stephen Fry, he seemed “twitchy” to head into the night.

Bloom then went to James Hotel’s club Jimmy to celebrate Rashad’s 27th birthday with guests, which included the actress’ parents, Ahmad and Phylicia Rashad, the New York Post reported.

The source said that Bloom and Rashad made sure that they kept a friendly distance. (ANI)
